Head of the Simplified Trade System Implementation Taskforce Mr Randall Brugeaud with members of the Executive team contributed to a two-day Regulatory Reform: Supporting business investment and growth conference.

Hosted by the Hon Ben Morton MP, Minister Assisting the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and presented by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and IPAA ACT, the conference brought together industry leaders, academics, State and Commonwealth regulators and policy makers who discussed regulatory reform, its challenges and opportunities and the vital role it can play in driving economic growth.

The Day 1 – Masterclass and Day 2 – Key Note & Panel sessions highlighted the complexity of our current cross-border trade environment and opportunities RegTech provides to simplify how government agencies work together as regulators, and importantly, the experience of traders in their dealings with government.
